The management of yourAxonaut contacts is done via the “Directory” section, a tab that centralises all the details of your contacts, prospects and customers. The map tab gives you a global view of the location of your activities.

The advanced filters, as below, allow you to easily access a wide range of information based on :

  • From the relevant sales person
  • From the contact’s position
  • Its category (which may be its sector of activity)
  • Contact details
  • From the date of the last exchange

The “+” on the right side of each contact allows your sales reps to add a prospect-related event such as an appointment or a phone call. Simplicity is key for your sales people who will have to multiply this type of action daily.

Opportunity management

As far as opportunity management is concerned, Axonaut is again very intuitive. The Kanban view allows you to follow the evolution of your customers within your sales funnel throughout the sales cycle.

The sales manager can create the opportunities in the “Target prospect” column, give the potential value of the deal as well as its probability of success in percentage. This view is interesting because it gives you an overview of your business activities and allows you to see at a glance the total value of each opportunity category.

This is an important option to know at all times whether you are on track with your business performance objectives.

By clicking on each opportunity, the lead manager can fill in information about the last interaction with the prospect. Telephone call, physical meeting, or other. Each interaction is recorded in a report that the salesperson can add to this section. This ensures optimal follow-up of the lead and improves conversion. At the end of the sales process, the salesperson indicates whether the deal is won or lost via the option at the top left.

Quotes & orders

Designed to optimise your customer relationship management in the simplest way possible, Axonaut’s quotes and orders module is also very useful. Entering quotations and invoices is quick and easy: the tool will pre-fill the documents according to the information entered in the opportunities section, which greatly simplifies the work of sales representatives.

Once an opportunity is marked as won, it can be found in the “Quotations and Orders” tab in the “Won Opportunities” section as below:

Then, by going to the opportunity in question you will be able to edit a quote for the deal, and then turn it into an invoice once the quote has been validated. Once the sale has been finalised and the invoice paid, the deal will arrive in the “sale” section.

Commercial reporting

You can access the dashboards of your activity in the “Steering” part of the tool. Here, we will focus solely on sales reporting and therefore on the “Sales statistics” tab. On this aspect too, the approach is interesting because it is very simple and visual, allowing you to focus your attention immediately on the important elements. The reporting of your activity is divided into two parts:

  • A global view of your orders, quotes and activities
  • A more visual tab summarising the performance of your business cycle (below)

If there is a stage in the sales cycle where your team is underperforming, you will be able to quickly identify it via this simplified view. You can get this information for your whole team or just for one sales person.

The SDO opinion
Resolutely oriented towards simplicity, Axonaut does not drown you in a mass of features. What really matters is easily available and the ergonomics make it possible to identify the different sections very quickly, which will be a real plus in terms of adoption of the tool.

Axonaut’s marketing module

Axonaut also integrates marketing features into its tool. You can createemailing and sms campaigns (mailing is not yet available).

The segmentation module for selecting recipients is also very simple and effective. Overall, if you want to build an emailing strategy, the tool will be a bit limiting. But if you want to send a monthly campaign with some key information in 3 clicks, this is exactly what you need.

The metrics for each type of campaign are really basic: rate and opening hours. Also, the possibilities to build your emails are limited, especially if you need to go further in the personalisation.

SDO’s opinion
For simple campaigns, Axonaut is the ideal tool: you can prepare your campaigns in a few minutes, and send them to your contact bases or prospects very easily. For a more advanced use of emailing (for e-tailers for example) we recommend looking at the integrations that Axonaut offers with emailing tools.

Ease of use & implementation

This is the main strength of Axonaut. The French software is positioned as a complete tool that allows you to manage your organisation almost entirely. Dedicated to SMEs, it only offers “essential” functions, making them very easily accessible and usable.

And the least we can say is that it is successful! There are many well thought-out shortcuts that will really make the daily work of your sales teams easier. The “add” button in the top right corner is particularly effective.

In designing Axonaut, its creators also thought about the adoption problems that sometimes arise when deploying certain tools in companies. Here, onboarding is guided and simplified.

The SDO opinion
Simple and intuitive. Your sales staff will not suffer from a steep learning curve to get to grips with the CRM.

Axonaut customer support

Axonaut’s new strong point is that it does not let you down, to say the least. There is a (really) impressive amount of online resources that give you all the keys to make the most of the tool’s possibilities and of course answer your questions if necessary. In the “guide” tab, you will find trainings on each type of functionality as well as video tutorials to learn how to use the tool.

As for the support, it is very reactive and we feel that there is a real desire to ensure that users use the tool on a daily basis. For example, at the end of the onboarding, the Axonaut team is available to accompany you in more depth in your start-up.

The SDO opinion
The Axonaut team really wants your teams to use their tool and it shows! The effort on the available resources and the reactivity of the customer support are proof of this.

Axonaut’s prices: adapted to SMEs

Pricing is in line with the positioning: prices are accessible and adapted to SMEs.

Here, there are no additional or reduced features depending on the package you choose, the price only varies according to the number of users:

  • From 1 to 9 users, you pay €29.99/month (including 1 user) + €14.99/month per additional user.
  • From 10 users, you pay €183.74/month + €14.99/month per user.

The SDO opinion
A complete tool for managing your organisation at the price of “simple” CRMs such as Zoho or Pipedrive, the value for money offered by Axonaut is excellent.
