\nRNVP processing (Restructuring, Normalisation, Postal Validation) is a series of operations carried out on a file to ensure the existence of the addresses present in a file and their normalised nature. It is therefore a computer process carried out by specialised service providers, approved by the National Address Service, which enables certain addresses to be corrected automatically and others to be placed in error for manual processing.<\/div>\n

There are different cases of use for RNVP software: the service (on receipt of address files), SAAS (automated processing chain hosted by the solution) or the licence (software installed directly on the client’s premises). Generally speaking, internalising the software at the client’s premises is expensive and concerns advertisers or CRM service providers with a large volume justifying the acquisition of the software.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that only software certified by the National Address Service (SNA)<\/a> can benefit from the reduction in postage costs. Any IT service provider or software publisher may apply for an audit of its RNVP software: the software will then be processed at the SNA premises with a file containing correct addresses and addresses containing errors on standard use cases in the light of previously defined criteria. The approval remains valid for 2 years.<\/p>\n
