Lunacal is a new player in the appointment scheduling software market, at least at the time of writing (end of August 2025). The platform was officially launched in July 2025 by an Indian team, after almost a year of development.
What does Lunacal bring to this already mature market? Is it just another appointment scheduling tool?
The answer is no, because Lunacal comes with a simple and effective value proposition: to transform the appointment booking page, often perceived as a mere formality, into a brand showcase and marketing tool. How do you do it? That’s what we’re going to find out in this Lunacal review.
When we came across this tool, we were intrigued. It’s a young solution, still evolving, but well worth a look. In this Lunacal review, we invite you to discover what makes it so unique, its strengths and the points that still need to be improved (they do exist).

Sommaire
My opinion on Lunacal in brief
Lunacal stands out for its original positioning and strong value proposition. Rather than being a simple online calendar, Lunacal is a tool designed as a marketing lever.
In concrete terms, your booking pages no longer resemble a standard form, but a kind of mini-landing page capable of convincing a prospect even before they’ve clicked on “Confirm”. This is a really interesting approach, especially for consultants, freelancers or sales teams who want to enhance their image.
In practical terms, the experience is quite convincing. Synchronization with Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar works without a hitch, and integrations with Zoom or Teams are built in by default (13 integrations are offered to date).
Configuration is quick, as we’ll see: you can set up your first page in just a few minutes, without any special technical skills. For such a recent tool, functional maturity is impressive.
That said, not everything is perfect. In particular, the absence of a dedicated mobile application is a real drawback for those who manage their diaries on the move. In addition, payment is limited to PayPal, which may frustrate users accustomed to Stripe.
But, let’s be honest, at €9 a month, with this level of customization and commitment, Lunacal already does better than many installed tools.
Advantages and disadvantages
- The ability to easily transform a simple booking page into a true professional showcase, which changes the approach compared to traditional tools.
- A high level of personalization, with the ability to add videos, images, customer testimonials, FAQs and logos directly on the appointment page.
- Advanced team functionalities, such as round robin to allocate appointments, or group planning to coordinate several participants.
- Good value for money, with an entry-level package at $9 per month (compared with $10 per month for Calendly), giving access to an already comprehensive range of functions.
- Support is reputed to be responsive, although we haven’t had the opportunity to verify this.
- The absence of a native mobile application, despite the fact that many users manage their diaries on the move (this is the big snag, but we’re sure the Lunacal teams will soon remedy it!).
- Payment integrations limited to PayPal for the time being, which is clearly a problem for Stripe users (and there are many of them…).

Our opinion of Lunacal’s key features
Lunacal’s main promise is to transform your booking page into a marketing tool, a professional showcase. With this tool, you don’t just offer a slot in your calendar, you showcase your business, your image and your credibility at the very moment the prospect books.
Interface
Here’s what the editing interface looks like:
On the left, the calendar, on the right the widgets that transform your booking page into a marketing tool.
Widgets
Lunacal offers a wide range of 100% customizable widgets. You can enrich the experience with text, customer testimonials, an image gallery, presentation videos, downloadable documents, FAQs and more. You can also add audio, a map and links to your social networks.
It’s easy to use (if you can call it that!): just a few clicks turn your simple booking page into a real landing page.
Design
In terms of design, Lunacal lets you choose from several display themes. Once you’ve chosen a theme, you can adapt the colors to suit your corporate identity.
Calendar synchronization
Of course, the tool doesn’t neglect the basics. Synchronization with your calendars (Google, Outlook, Apple) is bidirectional, integrations with Zoom, Teams, Meet or FaceTime are native, and you can set automatic reminders to avoid “no-shows”.
Event configuration
You can also define buffer times between two appointments or set a minimum booking time.
Collaboration
Lunacal goes even further for teams. You can create group pages, distribute appointments evenly thanks to round robin, or offer a slot only if all members concerned are available. These features will appeal to agencies, sales teams and customer services departments alike…
Integrations
Finally, when it comes to integrations, the tool already ticks a lot of boxes. Admittedly, only 13 native integrations are offered, but you can connect Lunacal to over 6,000 applications thanks to Zapier, and use webhooks to automate your workflows.
Salesdorado’s opinionLunacalis a very easy-to-use and well thought-out tool. It really adds another dimension to your appointment pages. We may regret that the number of themes is still rather limited (4 themes in total…), but the tool has only just been launched…
Offers & Prices
Lunacal’s pricing structure is simple: 3 packages are available, with the option of testing a lighter version free of charge before committing. In terms of pricings, we’re in the middle of the market, with the advantage of integrating a strong layer of personalization right from the entry-level.
- The Standard plan, at $9/month, is aimed primarily at freelancers. It lets you organize an unlimited number of appointments, integrate PayPal for payments and connect to third-party tools via Zapier. For many, this first level already covers the essentials.
- The Teams Planfor $15/month, is aimed at small businesses and teams. It opens up collaboration functionalities (round robin, group planning, team pages) and integrations with HubSpot CRM, Pipedrive and Salesforce.
- The Enterprise planat $25/month, targets larger structures. It includes priority support with a dedicated account manager, and custom integrations as required.

Verdict: a credible alternative to Calendly?
So is Lunacal a real competitor to Calendly? Not yet. Calendly remains the most complete and widely adopted tool today, with an ecosystem of integrations and features that far exceeds what Lunacal currently offers.
But Lunacal isn’t really trying to play on the same field. Its strength lies elsewhere: transforming the appointment booking page into a genuine marketing tool. And on this point, the tool clearly makes the difference.
If you’re looking for a robust, proven solution, Calendly remains the logical choice. But if your priority is to enhance your image and use reservations as a conversion lever, Lunacal is an original, well-thought-out alternative worth testing.
