Sommaire
Prospectin becomes Waalaxy: the prospecting tool has been transformed to become even more powerful. In the form of an extension for Google Chrome, Waalaxy is no longer limited to LinkedIn prospecting, but extends to other channels, including email and Twitter.
The extension also overrides the 100 connection requests per week limit imposed by LinkedIn since April / May 2021.
We’ve taken a closer look at this recent transformation to give you our thoughts on the subject – the rest is below!

#1 Waalaxy’s key features
Automated multi-channel prospecting
Multiplying the number of points of contact with a prospect is essential to move him or her through your sales funnel. By creating a new campaign on Waalaxy, you maximize your results by increasing the number of points of contact with your prospects, while facilitating a particularly time-consuming process.
For the moment, the extension focuses on LinkedIn, Twitter and email, but other channels should soon be available.
Once you’ve added the extension to your Chrome browser, go to a LinkedIn search page. You can then create a list or upload a CSV file already containing your LinkedIn prospect URLs.
Once your prospect list is ready, you can choose your template (you’ll soon be able to create your own template/sequence).
Templates are organized into action sequences. These are conditioned according to your prospect’s behavior: for example, you can call him back if he doesn’t respond after a certain period of time. Your template therefore plays an important role in your campaign, your tactics and your objectives.
Next, you’ll need to select prospects from the imported list. You can also automatically import new people into your list. You can import your connections, the people who have commented on your posts and the people who have visited your profile.
Next, you’ll need to personalize and prepare your sequences: this includes your emails, LinkedIn messages and notes. This is a crucial step, because writing a quality message will set you apart from spam.
Once everything is ready, check your work one last time. At last, you can launch your campaign! Waalaxy will take care of the rest. It’s important to note that your leads will disappear from your campaign as soon as they respond to your LinkedIn message or email.
Contact management
Waalaxy imports your prospects as a list. These leads are then integrated into Waalaxy’s integrated CRM, so there’s no need to use a third-party tool.
The ability to configure and customize data is particularly appreciated, and the interface is practical and aesthetically pleasing. If you’re looking for a more comprehensive CRM, take a look at our comparison!
Reporting
The “Home” tab gives you access to an attractive control panel. Sleek and again aesthetically pleasing, we also found it quite complete. You can track the progress of your campaigns (visits, connection requests, messages or e-mails). You’ll also have access to an acceptance and response rate (right-hand columns).
Data can also be classified according to your needs: prospect country/language, target company, target business, acquisition channel, given time period, tag, etc.
Salesdorado’s opinion
Waalaxy offers a really interesting balance between power & simplicity. It’s a far cry from the gasworks of the multi-channel prospecting market, which keep pseudo-growth-hackers looking for the perfect sequence ( 😂 ) more busy than salespeople. But the tool still allows you to set up fairly powerful sequences on the two preferred channels for prospecting: LinkedIn and email. Feel free to check out their public Roadmap to keep abreast of the latest updates and advances made by the team.
#2 Is Waalaxy easy to use?
Waalaxy’s simple yet effective interface makes it easy to use, even for beginners. But simple doesn’t mean incomplete. You’ll have access to a wide range of functions and configuration options to help you achieve your goals.
Don’t hesitate to take a close look at the multi-channel scenario templates, which are easy to use and well-suited to novices.
If you need any help, don’t hesitate to visit their YouTube channel. The latter offers several explanatory videos. You can also contact the team via support chat, and they’ll be able to help you out quickly.
Salesdorado’s opinion
This extension proves that minimalism and efficiency can go hand in hand. We appreciate the streamlined, optimized and aesthetically pleasing design.
# 3 Waalaxy, the only tool to bypass the LinkedIn limitation
Since April / May 2021, LinkedIn has limited the maximum number of connection requests per week to 100, in order to avoid spam and automation tools. This can quickly become restrictive, as LinkedIn spares no one: robots and “normal” users alike.
LinkedIn prospecting is far from outdated, however. The platform offers you the possibility of contacting your prospects by email, without this falling within the maximum quota of 100 people per month, and that’s where Waalaxy comes in.
The extension automatically retrieves the prospect’s email and can still send a LinkedIn connection request, without taking into account weekly restrictions. This technique allows you to contact between 500 and 700 new prospects a week.
Salesdorado’s opinion
Here, we’re at the limit. It’s a powerful promise, but in reality, the functionality is quite unstable, and it’s probably better to focus on targeting your 100 invitations/week, rather than sending 500 at all costs. Waalaxy is also developing a way of contacting members of a group or event directly by message, which would make it possible to go even further than the 500 weekly invitations.
# 4 Customer reviews on Waalaxy
As far as user reviews of the extension are concerned, Waalaxy has an average rating of 4.6 on the Chrome Web Store. As the extension is new, customer feedback is scarce, but we’ve summarized it for you. If you have experience with Waalaxy, please share it with us in the comments.
Advantages & Disadvantages
- Innovative: “This multi-channel version of ProspectIn is amazing, I love the new approach to sequences”.
- Aesthetics: “The design is very stylish”.
- More and more features: “They’re bringing in features every day that enhance the user experience.”
- A difficult transition? We lose all our tags and campaign history, and our servers are constantly overloaded”.
- Few users: Waalaxy is still in its infancy. Although the tool is developing rapidly, you’ll have to wait a little before you get a large number of features.
Salesdorado’s opinion
Waalaxy is a tool with a very promising future. However, we recommend that you play the game and avoid mass spamming – that’s not what the extension is for!
# 5 Waalaxy integrations
Waalaxy works with many channels, which is advantageous: the more channels used, the higher the conversion rate. So it’s only natural that the extension should offer a wide range of native extensions. Thanks to Zapier, you can also connect Waalaxy to a multitude of tools to automatically update your CRM software, export your leads or send notifications to Slack.
You can also link your Waalaxy account to a Gmail, Outlook or other e-mail client.
Salesdorado’s opinion
We greatly appreciate the fact that the team is always ready to listen, and that we can suggest ideas for future integrations on this Trello.
# 6 Waalaxy rates
You have the option of taking out three different subscriptions. Whichever subscription you choose, if you opt for a one-year commitment, rates are half as expensive.
- Pro package at €25 per month (€13 if annual commitment)
This package allows you to visit and follow profiles, send personalized messages, as well as automated invitation requests and sequences. You can import your contacts from CSV files and export emails in the same format. You’ll have access to a centralized dashboard, unlimited quotas and simple sequences.
- Advanced package at €50 per month (€25 for annual commitment)
This package offers all the benefits of the Pro offer, with the added advantage of access to advanced sequences and auto-imports.
- Business package at €80 per month (€40 if annual commitment)
Finally, the Business package gives you access to full sequences, auto-imports and email enrichment.
Salesdorado’s opinion
Waalaxy offers several options, so it’s up to you to decide which one suits you best. Don’t forget that you can try out the extension for free for seven days: enough time to get the hang of it and make the right decision.
We hope you’ve found this article useful, so please don’t hesitate to give us your thoughts on the tool in the comments! Waalaxy is a new tool and any feedback will be useful and constructive for other readers.
