Taplio is an AI-powered LinkedIn prospecting tool with a simple promise: to help you produce more content, faster and on a regular basis. It’s as much for consultants and creatives as for B2B marketing teams or agencies looking to professionalize their LinkedIn presence.

An important thing to know: Taplio is part of lempire, the group behind Lemlist, one of the best-known outbound solutions on the market. This changes a lot of things. We’re not dealing with a small, isolated AI tool like the 50 that come out every month (we’re exaggerating a little…): Taplio is part of an ecosystem designed for prospecting and opportunity generation, with a real product vision and a sustained pace of innovation.

With Taplio, you can generate posts and carousels, find new ideas thanks to a library of viral content, plan your publications, analyze your performance and maintain your interactions with your network.

The tool goes further than simple copywriting, as it also offers, among other things, an engagement module, a Chrome extension to enrich the LinkedIn experience and integrations via Zapier or HubSpot to link content to your sales pipeline.

In this review, we go over the strengths, limitations and real-life use cases to help you determine whether Taplio can find its place in your LinkedIn strategy.

Our opinion on Taplio in a nutshell

Perimeter Score My opinion
Overall rating 4,1 Taplio is a very complete and powerful LinkedIn prospecting tool for profiles already active on LinkedIn, but it does require a substantial budget and real editorial discipline to achieve its full potential.
Content creation (AI, carousels, rewriting) 4,3 This is Taplio’s big strength: AI-generated posts, teasers, carousels and images, with real functional depth. Obviously, the AI produces more solid drafts than “turnkey” posts (you always have to go back a bit to put down “your voice”).
Engagement & interaction 3,8 The tools for tracking the right accounts, responding to comments and maintaining the relationship are quite well thought-out. They help to systematize engagement, provided you’re careful about automation so as not to degrade authenticity or take risks with LinkedIn.
Easy to handle 4,2 The tool is recent, so the interface is modern, clear and fairly intuitive. You quickly understand how the main components work (AI, calendar, carousels), even if the wealth of options can be a little confusing for even the most novice profiles.
Analytics & steering 3,6 Dashboards go further than native LinkedIn and are sufficient to monitor frequency, top posts and major trends. On the other hand, they fall short of specialized tools such as Shield for fine-grained analysis.
LinkedIn automation & compliance 2,9 Used as a writing and planning assistant, Taplio remains in a rather comfortable zone. As soon as you start flirting with mass automation (engagement, outreach, prospecting), the risk of offending LinkedIn rules rises sharply: handle with caution.
Integrations & workflows 4,0 Integrations via Zapier and connection to HubSpot link LinkedIn content to the sales pipeline.
Value for money 3,4 The Standard and Pro plans are clearly positioned for serious users or even agencies, with prices that may seem high for a solo user. The investment is justified especially if the tool is used intensively and connected to a real lead generation workflow.

The main advantages & disadvantages of Taplio

  • One of the most complete content creation bricks on the market: LinkedIn post generation, rewriting, tagline optimization, carousels, AI images. Taplio lets you quickly produce solid drafts to feed a regular editorial line.
  • An excellent tool for structuring your LinkedIn presence, with a clear editorial calendar, queues, optimized schedules and the possibility of recycling the best posts to keep up the pace.
  • A Chrome extension (Taplio X) that enriches LinkedIn by displaying useful insights directly in the interface, making it easier to find inspiration.
  • Relevant integrations via Zapier and HubSpot, which link LinkedIn visibility to the sales pipeline and track the business impact of content.
  • A short learning curve: the interface is modern and easy to understand, and you can quickly see visible results in terms of regularity and commitment.
  • AI is good at generating ideas and drafts, but it often produces generic content that requires rewriting to regain an authentic voice. Taplio is not a “plug & play” tool (but, let’s be honest, that’s the case with all AI content generation tools…).
  • The cost is still quite high for an individual user, especially as the features that make the difference (carousels, AI images, sufficient AI credits) are only available from the Standard plan.
  • Analytics remain limited for advanced B2B uses: sufficient to monitor frequency and top posts, but insufficient to measure fine ROI or analyze the audience in depth.
  • The 250 AI credits of the Standard plan are quickly exhausted for an active designer or agency, which may mean switching quickly to the Pro plan (with unlimited AI credits), which is considerably more expensive.
  • The preview of posts and carousels is not always perfectly faithful to the final rendering on LinkedIn.

Taplio’s key features

Taplio is focused on a precise objective: to help designers, consultants and marketing teams publish more and better on LinkedIn, without spending hours on it. This is THE value proposition of this LinkedIn prospecting tool.

The tool combines content generation, planning, engagement and analytics in a single interface. Here are Taplio’s main functional bricks.

Content creation with AI (the heart of the product)

It is on this brick that Taplio has built its fledgling reputation. The tool relies on AI trained on millions of LinkedIn posts to suggest ideas, generate drafts and rewrite texts in different tones.

The experience is designed to move quickly from inspiration to a usable first draft, which can then be refined to suit your style.

You can start with a simple idea, a topic, an article link, a YouTube video or even an old post. Taplio then suggests several variations, rephrases the introduction, tests other hooks and adapts the length.

The carousel generator is the other centerpiece: it transforms a theme, link or draft into a complete visual format, ready to be adjusted and published.

The tool clearly goes beyond simple text generation. It can be asked to change the tone (more assertive, more conversational, more concise), to tighten or expand a message, or to improve the clarity of an argument.

AI plays the role of a useful editorial assistant here, but generally produces drafts rather than final posts. The personal touch remains essential to avoid the “generic content” effect, a point often mentioned by advanced users.

Salesdorado’s opinion
Taplio is one of the best tools on the market for going from zero ideas to a solid draft in just a few minutes. But for content that rings true and really performs for your audience, you’ll still need to rework each post to inject your expertise and voice.

Planning and editorial calendar

Taplio not only generates content, it also helps to structure it. The editorial calendar is one of the tool’s strong points: simple, clear and designed to remain consistent in its publications. You can schedule posts by the week, month or add them to a queue that automatically maintains the defined frequency.

The tool also offers publishing schedule recommendations based on historical performance and audience engagement. For users who often lack regularity, this feature really comes in handy and removes the friction of “when to publish?”.

You can also recycle your best posts. Taplio identifies content that has worked well, and suggests republishing it or adapting it in another form (carousel, short version, long version). It’s a common practice: a good LinkedIn post can often live several lives, and Taplio facilitates this recycling logic.

Assisted engagement & social pipeline

Publishing is good. Engaging is better. Taplio understands this and offers a range of tools designed to facilitate interaction without turning the user into a robot.

Taplio lets you create lists of accounts to follow: prospects, influencers in your niche, partners, customers, colleagues. From these lists, the tool automatically highlights their new posts to help you react regularly and maintain the relationship.

The other key component concerns comments on your own publications. Taplio identifies messages you haven’t replied to, highlights important interactions and, if you wish, offers AI-generated suggestions for responses.

Taplio also allows certain more automated actions (engagement or semi-automated prospecting) which can flirt with the limits imposed by LinkedIn… These functions must be used with discernment…

Analytics and performance management

Taplio offers a far more comprehensive analytics module than LinkedIn’s native offering.
You get an overview of your activity: subscriber growth, views, interactions, engagement rates, top posts and trends over the last few weeks or months.

The main advantage of the dashboard is that it allows quick and easy management:

  • Which formats work
  • Which catchphrases generate the most clicks
  • Which days perform best
  • Which topics generate the most conversation, etc.?

For most, this information is more than enough to optimize their editorial line.

However, Taplio remains limited for advanced B2B uses. It lacks the granularity of a tool like Shield, which enables detailed analysis of audience, geographic breakdown, roles, sectors, or even ROI measurement based on post types. For companies that need to prove that LinkedIn really does generate qualified leads, Taplio quickly shows its limitations…

Salesdorado’s opinion
Taplio’s analytics are perfect for monitoring your rhythm, inspiration and “best posts”. But if your objective is to prove ROI or fine-tune analysis of your B2B audience, Taplio will seem rather limited in this respect.

Taplio X Chrome extension

Taplio X is one of the tool’s most popular additions. This free Chrome extension superimposes insights directly into the LinkedIn interface:

  • Your best publications
  • Content suggestions
  • Top-performing posts in your niche
  • Quick analysis of the profile you’re viewing.
  • Etc.

The aim is to make Taplio present at every stage of your daily use of LinkedIn, without the need to open the application. By scrolling through the feed or consulting a LinkedIn profile, you already get useful information and ideas for engaging or publishing.

Integrations & workflows (Zapier, HubSpot)

Standard and Pro plans give access to advanced integrations via Zapier. Zapier integration opens the door to more than 6,000 applications: CRM, databases, marketing tools, spreadsheets, storage spaces, etc.

For a marketing team or agency, this means, for example, automatically synchronizing post ideas, publication performance or sending leads identified on LinkedIn to an internal pipeline.

Connecting to HubSpot is one of the most concrete use cases. As soon as a prospect interacts with your posts (comments, forms, contacts), Taplio can automatically transmit the information to the CRM. This links personal branding and content efforts to tangible business metrics: new contacts created, opportunities, conversions.

Support, documentation & community

Taplio’s documentation is clear and comprehensive, but in English, with short guides, simple tutorials and videos to quickly familiarize you with the tool. The knowledge base covers the essentials: post creation, queue management, carousels, extensions and integrations.

As always with this type of tool, support depends largely on the plan chosen. Starter plan users have to rely mainly on online documentation and resources,
while the Pro plan gives access to much more responsive support. For agencies or teams using Taplio on a large scale, this can be a decisive factor.

Taplio rates & value for money

Taplio offers three monthly-billed plans.

Map Price list IA Credits Ideal for
Starter 39 / month No AI credits. You benefit from post ideas, programming and analytics, but without automatic content generation or rewriting. Discover the tool, publish more regularly, structure your presence with a simple calendar without having to depend on AI.
Standard 65/month 250 AI credits per month, enough to regularly generate posts, carousels and images, and rely on AI on a daily basis without being in heavy use. Creators and freelancers who publish several times a week, want to exploit carousels, AI images and start automating some of the engagement.
Pro 199/month Unlimited AI credits and comments, designed for intensive use, multiple account management and high volumes of generation and engagement. Agencies and marketing or sales teams who manage multiple profiles, want to industrialize content and connect LinkedIn to a CRM pipeline with high volumes.

The differences between plans are not simply a question of the volume of AI credits: access to key functionalities changes the experience dramatically. The Standard plan is the first “real” Taplio tier, as it unlocks AI generation (text, carousels, images), engagement tools and Zapier integration. This is clearly the level where the tool begins to show its full potential.

The Pro plan, on the other hand, takes Taplio to a new level. With unlimited AI credits and the ability to manage multiple accounts in parallel, it becomes a tool of scale: perfect for agencies or marketing teams that produce a high volume of content and want to connect LinkedIn to their CRM via Zapier or HubSpot. For solo users, on the other hand, the price differential will be hard to justify.

Salesdorado’s opinion
Taplio is a very good choice for regular creators, consultants who make a living from their visibility or teams who have integrated LinkedIn into their business strategy. If you publish infrequently or opportunistically, on the other hand, its rates may seem disproportionate.
