In this article, we introduce you to two CRM software giants: Pipedrive and Salesforce.

Pipedrive ranks among the best CRMs for small and medium-sized businesses that have stable business processes, simple account management andAccount Based Marketing needs, but high stakes on prospecting and lead management.

Salesforce is the leader in commercial CRM. It offers excellent functional depth and many integrations. It is a fairly complex software to use, which meets the needs of well-established sales teams well, but is more oriented towards managing customer accounts than Pipedrive.

Pipedrive VS Salesforce at a glance: Comparison chart

Pipedrive offers very good value for money for sales teams with a strong sales focus and little or no marketing team.

The tool does not offer a free plan, but offers very competitive rates. The first plan, at 19,90€/month/user, gives access to all the functionalities, except for automation, to numerous integrations, to analyses of your sales and authorizes an unlimited number of contacts. The most expensive plan, at €119.90/month/per user, gives access to all features, offers more advanced integration features and phone support. You can also add add-ons, charged per company, like the Lead Booster, at 39€/month.

pipedrive rates

Salesforce pricing is more complex and can vary greatly depending on your profile and the options you choose. There are four plans, ranging from 25 euros/user/month to 300 euros.

The Enterprise and Unlimited plans are the most comprehensive plans and are designed for large commercial organizations. Details of the various plans are available in this document.

The first two plans may be suitable for small and medium-sized businesses, but their prices make them rather unattractive. Conversely, for larger companies and more expensive plans, Salesforce is flexible on pricing as user volume increases.

But you must be careful and take into account, beyond the cost of licenses, other costs that we detail in this article. The pricing structure is very complex, but you should expect to pay at least €5,000 the first year for a team of 5 with relatively simple needs.
