It is not for nothing that Pipedrive is one of the leading CRMs on the market.

It’s easy to use, ultra-comprehensive – especially when it comes to sales pipelines – and offers a user experience that is frankly hard to find anywhere else.

But Pipedrive also has weaknesses, reinforced by the price increase since their rebranding at the end of 2022: the CRM is still of high quality, but it is more expensive, and therefore not necessarily suitable for all organizations, especially smaller ones.

We have constructed this list of the 10 alternatives to Pipedrive that we feel are the most credible by focusing on defining a context in which each alternative can offer significant advantages over Pipedrive.

The limits of Pipedrive CRM

pipeline

Pipedrive is the deal-centric CRM par excellence: super easy to use, with a great Kanban view – if you have a very transactional approach and a relatively large volume of opportunities in parallel, it’s very hard to beat.

But as soon as it comes toaccount-based marketing, optimizing revenue per customer account, or having visibility on customer history, it is quickly limited.

Although they released anemail marketing tool in 2022(Pipedrive Campaigns), the CRM is actually very poor on marketing features, and especially integrates quite poorly with the main B2B marketing automation software on the market(Sendinblue, ActiveCampaign, Hubspot), which are very contact-first oriented. It’s generally difficult to get out of the commercial pipeline vision with Pipedrive.

The rebranding at the end of 2022 also comes with a significant increase in pricing, which reposition the tool far from the operational reality of most who would have chosen Pipedrive a few months or years ago. The first serious plan starts at 35€/month/user. It’s more expensive than Hubspot’s Starter plan (20€/month for two users) and especially more expensive than Hubspot’s Starter CRM Suite which gives you access to marketing automation tools, customer support management, and Hubspot CMS.

There is no escaping the impression that Pipedrive is focusing on expanding revenue from its existing customer base with many add-ons (Enrichment, Anonymous Visitor Detection, Campaigns, Smart Docs, Projects, etc.) and pricing increasingly geared towards large organizations.

pipedrive rates

The solution is still very impressive, remaining true to its deal-first DNA and impeccable user experience – but on our side, we’re really not ready to pay what more established customers are obviously ready to pay.

In other words, if your exit cost is not too high, it’s worth thinking about.

#1 Salesforce

The leader in account-centric CRM

salesforce landpage

Switching from Pipedrive to Salesforce isn’t exactly a no-brainer, but ifaccount-based marketing and account expansion are important to your business, it’s hard to pass up.

Salesforce is the leader in account-centric CRM, offering a comprehensive business ecosystem. More generally, Salesforce dominates the CRM market thanks to its functional depth and rich integrations.

Compared to Pipedrive, it is therefore much more complete but also more complex and more expensive to set up: the solution is aimed at all types of companies, but is probably less relevant for small organizations.

For the price, you should expect to pay at least $75/month/license, with an annual commitment (mandatory). Note that it is sometimes difficult to calculate all the costs of Salesforce in advance, which can include integrators and training.

Salesforce is definitely more expensive than Pipedrive, but that’s the price of the market-leading, most comprehensive CRM to date.

#2 noCRM

A lead-centric CRM for high touch teams

no crm landpage

NoCRM is a very prospecting-oriented CRM(lead management) that works very well to replace Pipedrive in high-touch teams with a high outbound proportion.

If noCRM is a very good alternative to Pipedrive, it is mainly thanks to its interface, its prospecting tools and its ultra-reactive customer service. We also note its ease of adoption.

However, you have to keep in mind that noCRM is a lead-centric CRM – without marketing functionalities for example – with limited scalability. It is rather intended for small and medium-sized companies.

Starting at 12€/month/user, count 22€/user to include forecasting features and key integrations (VOIP, Zapier, etc.). NoCRM offers more features than Pipedrive for about the same price.

All noCRM plans offer a free trial to discover the tool.

#3 Hubspot

A versatile and ultra complete CRM, while remaining flexible

hubspot landscape

Hubspot is a very good alternative to Pipedrive because it is a very versatile CRM, with an excellent Kanban view, but a lot of flexibility, and the whole marketing suite, live chat software, and CMS that comes with it.

Compared to Pipedrive, Hubspot offers a wide range of integrations, powerfulautomation features – sales and marketing – combined with a very good view of the sales pipeline.

A free map is available. Then count 20€/month for 2 users for the commercial CRM only, or 50€/month for the entire Hubspot Starter suite. This is overall cheaper than the Pipedrive Advanced plan at 35 euros/user.

#4 Copper CRM

The reference CRM on Gmail

copper landpage

CopperCRM is the reference CRM software on Gmail, which manages to marry business management (which is Pipedrive’s strong point) and a contact-first vision very well.

Among CopperCRM’s strengths, it is impossible not to mention its flexibility which makes it an easy-to-adopt CRM. CopperCRM also offers many third-party integrations or via Zapier (although at Salesdorado, we would prefer Integromat), not to mention the excellent G-Suite integration.

Its contact-first vision makes it an ideal CRM for start-ups, although its prices remain higher than average.

For a real alternative to Pipedrive, plans start at $29/month/user, but it costs $69/month/user to access automations & integrations.

CopperCRM is not one of the most affordable alternatives to Pipedrive, but it is still a tool that we strongly recommend because of its quality.

Copper CRM plans are a little higher than average, but all offer a free trial.

#5 Folk

A fully customizable contact-first CRM

folk landpage

Folk has a resolutely contact-first approach, quite far from Pipedrive. But the tabular organization, flexibility, and nativeB2B enrichment make it an attractive solution for those who rely heavily on email – especially with the deep integration with G-Suite.

Folk is fully customizable, and adapts to the needs of each user: for example, you have access to pre-enriched contact lists if you want to leave technical topics to the professionals. A trick traditionally reserved for “Enterprise” plans with prohibitive prices for small structures.

The main limitation is that we are really using a contact management tool, and not a sales pipeline. But the notion of a pipeline only makes sense for commercial organizations that are already quite advanced, and it is mostly very limiting to commercial activity only.

Folk offers a free plan limited to 100 contacts and 100 messages per month. Then count $19/month/user with up to 100 enrichments per month or $39/month/user for 500 enrichments.

With its contact-first approach, Folk is slightly different from Pipedrive, but has the advantage of offering a free plan – unlike Pipedrive – which can allow you to test the tool.

#6 FreshWorks

A very good first CRM, complete and intuitive

freshworks landpage

Freshworks is a complete suite with its Freshsales CRM, and marketing automation tools, customer support software, chat, etc. Freshworks focuses on ease of use, while offering a wide range of features, from B2B enrichment to pipeline management.

In its strengths, Freshworks is a very good first CRM software thanks to its excellent and easy-to-use interface. Also noteworthy: a very advanced reporting tool.

Freshworks is a versatile CRM for freelancers, VSEs and start-ups, even if you should be aware of its hidden costs.

The “Growth” plan is free for up to 3 users. Count then 18€/month/license for the essential of a CRM and 39€/month/user for more complex processes. The prices are generally quite similar to those of Pipedrive.

#7 Zoho

The CRM recognized and available in its light version Bigin

zoho homepage

In the alternatives to Pipedrive, Zoho is an all-in-one software suite that is very complete and widely used. They also have an ultra-lightweight offering: Zoho Bigin, which is very pipeline-focused.

Zoho’s strengths are really its versatility: it’s an effective CRM that offers a lot of tools, from prospecting to CPQ – the software is suitable for any type of organization, regardless of its size. Not to mention access to Canvas by Zoho.

For small companies, Zoho Bigin is a very good option to start with a CRM, and allows you to benefit from a real software that will follow you for a long time, at a very interesting price – 9€/user/month.

For the real Zoho suite, rates start at 20€/month/user. Zoho is positioned in the same price range as Pipedrive, but if Pipedrive is too expensive for you, you can start by testing Zoho Bigin.

#8 Monday CRM

The CRM suite of project management software

monday homepage

Monday is a project management tool that has built a CRM suite. It’s very flexible, very rich in integrations and automation, and very business and productivity oriented.

If Monday CRM is a good alternative to Pipedrive, it is because of its marketing and sales automation tools, but also because of its pipeline management interface. Its flexibility also makes it easy to adopt.

Monday CRM is suitable for any type of organization, and is ideal for those who want a versatile project management software that provides them with complete CRM tools.

The Basic plan starts at 37.5€/month for 3 users minimum. For a use comparable to Pipedrive, count on 30€/month/user.

#9 Nutshell

The “small” but very powerful CRM

nutshell homepage

Nutshell is a CRM very close to Pipedrive’s DNA on simplicity and adoption with a focus on email prospecting & cold mailing sequences. It’s a very powerful “little” CRM indeed.

It is a commercial CRM with a contact-centric approach ideal for those who want a very good prospecting tool. The interface is very intuitive, which makes learning it accessible, especially for start-ups that shun the complexity of more established CRMs on the market.

In recent years, Nutshell has developed many features, from marketing tools to pipeline automation functions, that are among the most advanced in the market.

Starting at $19/month/user. Instead, charge $49/month/license to access all automation features.

#10 Salesflare

The American CRM is very prospecting oriented

salesflare homepage

A very American CRM, very oriented towards prospecting and sales activities with native enrichment, LinkedIn extension, and many integrations.

Salesflare integrates with a variety of tools, mailboxes, calendars (Google Calendar) but especially Zapier, which allows for a wide range of integrations.

Please note: Salesflare isn’t really for startups – it doesn’t have millions of customization options, and the learning curve can be a bit long if this is your first CRM.

Count $35/month/user for the essentials, and $55/month/user for the Pro plan.
